Who We Are
Somerset Senior Citizens Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit which was established in 1991. We are the focal point for seniors who reside in Southern Bexar County. We focus on enhancing the quality of lives of our senior members and community. Promoting nutrition, transportation and social services in a safe environment.

Somerset Senior Center provides meals at no cost to our senior clients Monday - Friday in partnership with City of San Antonio. We distribute lunch at 11:00 a.m. Due to COVID 19, we are unable to eat in a congregate setting at the time.
Somerset Senior Center provides transportation services to and from the center at no cost to the member in partnership with Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) & Bexar County Community Block Development Grant (CDBG.) We also provide weekly trips to local businesses located in the City of Somerset.

Free box fans are provided to senior citizens in an effort to provide heat relief and prevent heat-related illness during the hot summer months, please call the United Way Helpline at 211
